We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our Pulmonary Medicine department at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and evaluating life support equipment to diagnose and treat respiratory diseases. You will work under the supervision of the Director of Cardio-Respiratory Care Services and/or the Respiratory Care Manager, Supervisor, and Clinical Coordinator.

• Set up, operate, and evaluate routine and advanced life support equipment
• Provide appropriate care to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, or geriatric patients
• Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• A High School Diploma and graduate from an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Care
• Registry eligibility or Registered Respiratory Therapist certification
• At least 1 year of clinical experience in all aspects of Respiratory Care (preferable)
• New York State license or permit
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross

We offer a competitive salary range of $42.95-$55.85 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
