Position Overview:

As a vital member of our team, the Floor Plan Auditor is responsible for conducting thorough inspections of vehicle inventories.

Work Schedule:

Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with additional hours as required to fulfill departmental objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize the Personal Audit Device (PAD) to download assigned audits and verify the Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) at dealer locations.
  • Identify the whereabouts of vehicles temporarily off the dealer's lot and inspect them when feasible.
  • Review the Manufacturer's Certificates of Origin for units in transit to the dealer, when available.
  • Examine units that have been sold by the dealer and are in the payment process, reviewing the Sales Jacket for pertinent details.
  • Conduct inspections on vehicles designated for re-evaluation by the Floor Plan Manager.
  • Verify vehicle titles for proper registration and assignment.
  • Adhere to the responsibilities outlined in the Secured Credit Procedures for Floor Plan Inspectors.
  • Foster positive relationships with dealer personnel.
  • Upload completed audits via the PAD.
  • Report any unusual or potential issues to the Floor Plan Manager.
  • Collaborate effectively with bank staff and demonstrate the ability to work independently while contributing to team success.
Physical Requirements:

This role involves significant physical activity, including kneeling, crawling, and working outdoors. A valid driver's license is necessary. The position requires the ability to focus visually at close distances for extended periods and perform tasks in various weather conditions.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with strong communication skills to maintain professional relationships with customers.

Experience:

Up to two years of relevant experience is preferred.
