Responsibilities- Coordinate and provide safe care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Direct and coordinate the care of assigned personnel, including charge duties as assigned.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, hospital policies, and procedures.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and patient preferences.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes, including medication management, wound care, and pain management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Florida Nursing License.
- American Heart Association approved BLS certification.
- ACLS, PALS, CPI, and PALS certifications as required by the department.
