Job Summary

As a Surgical Technologist Level II, you will assist physicians during surgical procedures by performing scrub duties, ensuring a safe and efficient operating room environment. You will work closely with the surgical team to provide high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and handling instruments and equipment.
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures.
  • Provide excellent patient care, maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures.
  • Participate in departmental performance improvement activities, identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing to the development of solutions.
Requirements
  • Two years of experience as a Surgical Technologist or equivalent military experience.
  • Graduate of an approved surgical technologist program or military equivalent.
  • Surgical Technologist Certificate from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or National Center for Competency Testing.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
