Construction Management Internship Opportunity

Loureiro Contractors Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Management Intern to join our team in Plainville, CT. As a Construction Management Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in the construction industry and work on a variety of projects, including site/concrete/remediation/building construction projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist Estimators, Project Managers, and Field Superintendents in all phases of projects, including quantity take-offs, scheduling, submittals, and quality control.
  • Attend job meetings and assist with project coordination.
  • Prepare project-specific health and safety documents and assist with coordination of self-performed work.
  • Assist with a variety of reports, work plans, schedules, and budgets.
Requirements:
  • Junior or Senior attending College or University studying Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Experience in site/concrete/remediation/building construction project and/or civil engineering experience is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Flexible, well-organized, detail-oriented, and multi-tasking skills.
