Position: Laboratory Technician

We are in search of a meticulous and dedicated Laboratory Technician to aid in our commitment to excellence. In this role, you will be instrumental in various aspects of our operations, including research and development, quality assurance, and production activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct research, development, quality assurance, and production tasks as assigned to meet the company's goals.
2. Set up, operate, maintain, and enhance laboratory equipment and instruments.
3. Ensure laboratory environments are kept in optimal condition.
4. Collect and analyze data, including electronic processing inputs.
5. Prepare documentation and finished products for distribution.
6. Operate forklifts for loading and unloading shipping vehicles.
7. Uphold and enforce safety standards within the laboratory and facility.
8. Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations established by Itaconix.
9. Perform all responsibilities diligently, trustworthily, and efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of education in chemistry or related technical fields.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Preferred 2+ years of experience in a laboratory setting.
• Physically capable of safely operating a forklift.
• Able to regularly lift bags weighing up to 55 lbs.
• General technical knowledge in laboratory practices and chemicals is preferred.
