- Perform Duties within Scope of Practice: Carry out assigned tasks in an accurate and timely manner, adhering to facility/client policy, procedures, and protocols.
- Assist Healthcare Providers: Support doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals with treatments, procedures, and tests in various patient care settings.
- Safeguard Clients/Patients: Observe and adhere to infection control procedures, including universal precautions, to ensure a safe environment for clients/patients.
- Notify Supervising Nurse: Inform the supervising nurse of any abnormal findings or conditions.
- Demonstrate Flexibility: Adapt to changing needs and priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Prefer One Year Experience: Prefer one year of experience as a certified nursing assistant within the last three years.
- Certified Nursing Assistant Program: Graduate from a certified nursing assistant program with subsequent documentation as a certified nursing assistant per state requirements, with proof of verification as an active certification and in good-standing.
- Medical Terminology and Clerical Functions: Possess knowledge of medical terminology and clerical functions.
- Professional Standards of Practice: Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice.
- Amergis Competency Program: Participate and complete Amergis' Competency program when applicable.
- CPR and Health Certificate: Possess current CPR certification and a current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
- Federal, State, and Local Requirements: Meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
- New Hire Training: Successfully complete new hire training as applicable to the job site.
- Patient Confidentiality and HIPAA: Understand patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.
- Communication and Computer Skills: Possess strong communication skills, proficiency in the English language, and computer proficiency.
- Age Requirement: Be at least 18 years of age.
