Position Summary:

The Sportsbook Wagering Specialist is responsible for managing customer bets on sporting events, ensuring efficient and prompt transactions while delivering exceptional service to guests.

• Engages professionally with customers to resolve disputes, answer inquiries, and enhance the overall guest experience.
• Maintains and reconciles a cash drawer for issuing and redeeming tickets and vouchers, adhering to company cash handling and void procedures.
• Effectively communicates and promotes available wagering options and current promotions to customers.
• Possesses a strong understanding of when to escalate potential complaints, business risks, and identify VIP customers.
• Keeps the service window organized and well-stocked for the next shift.
• Follows all regulations established by the organization and relevant gaming authorities.
• Consistently embodies the values and behaviors associated with the Hard Rock brand.
• Demonstrates knowledge of sports betting terminology and manages customer expectations effectively.
• Exhibits excellent communication and problem-solving skills to articulate ideas, frame issues, and propose solutions to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods and work in a dynamic, high-energy environment.
• Availability to oversee operations around the clock and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in gaming or sportsbook-related positions preferred.
• Strong knowledge and background in the gaming industry and betting processes preferred.
• Experience in customer service is required.
• Prior experience with cash handling is necessary.
• Must obtain and maintain all required licenses and certifications as per federal, state, and gaming regulations.
• Successful completion of a background check is mandatory.
• Must pass a drug screening.
• Candidate must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
