Medical Surgical Nurse Job Description

**Job Summary:**

OneStaff Medical is seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Nurse for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a Medical Surgical Nurse, you will provide direct care to adult patients with multiple diagnoses, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

**Responsibilities:**

* Provide individualized care to patients with complex medical needs
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
* Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and prioritize care
* Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed
* Monitor patient progress, adjust care plans as needed, and communicate effectively with patients and families

**Requirements:**

* Current LPN licensure in the state of Virginia
* 1+ year of experience in Medical Surgical nursing
* Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
