About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Create functional and cost-effective packaging designs that meet our clients' requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and supply chain, to ensure seamless execution of packaging projects.
  • Testing and Validation: Develop and execute testing protocols for packaging components and shipping studies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Material Selection: Assess and improve material testing procedures, incorporating new methods as needed, to optimize packaging performance and reduce costs.
  • Process Improvement: Investigate new technologies to enhance line performance and reduce costs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Documentation: Create and update packaging documentation, including bills of materials, specifications, and assembly instructions.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of packaging design experience, preferably in cosmetics and consumer goods.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of packaging engineering principles, tests, and equipment, familiarity with manufacturing methods and machinery, proficiency in creating 2D drawings, and excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
