About the Role

At St. David's Surgical Hospital, we're seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient progress.
  • Direct, monitor, and evaluate the care delegated to non-licensed personnel on the team.
  • Administer medications, complete treatments, and perform venipuncture as needed.
  • Provide educational materials to patients and families on care and treatments.
  • Review and verify physician orders, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
