About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement play-based curriculum as a program of studies

Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Education Degree
  • Eligibility for a Northwest Territories Teaching Certificate
  • Strong working background in Elementary teaching, particularly in a Northern environment
  • Recent teaching experience in a K-12 environment
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Knowledge of, or willingness to become familiar with, the prescribed NWT Curricula

Salary is pro-rated dependent on verified education and experience (ranging from $84,669 to $136,694 per annum) plus an annual pro-rated Northern Allowance based on the NWTTA Collective Agreement.
