Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service. You will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, processing transactions, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication lists and allergy information.
• Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues.

• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on pharmacy practices and procedures.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy Technician certification or registration required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
