Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic - Equipment Specialist to join our team at Lhoist Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our plant operating equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance inspections, repairs, and rebuilds on all plant operating equipment to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct preventive maintenance checks and report findings to ensure early detection and resolution of potential issues.
  • Equipment Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions, using advanced diagnostic techniques and tools.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory management, and equipment performance data.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and procurement, to ensure seamless equipment maintenance and repair.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in mechanical sciences and mathematics.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, with a focus on equipment troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in MS Office and SAP is a plus.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent lifting, bending, and climbing. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and work in a variety of environmental conditions.
