Trusted Resource Associates (TRA) is seeking a skilled Travel Imaging Technologist to join our team.

Job Summary:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing radiation detection and imaging equipment.
  • Provide quality care to patients of all age groups, from newborn to elderly, according to department standards.
  • Complete established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Position patients for optimal imaging results, taking into account their comfort and safety.
  • Administer contrast media and other medications as required for imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Formal 2-year radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school, meeting requirements for registry by the ARRT.
  • 2 years of experience in CT scan components, with a focus on computed tomography.
  • Current certification in computed tomography, such as ARRT or NMTCB.
  • State license, if required.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
