Clinical Research Coordinator

Austin Retina Associates is seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Clinical Research Assistant to support our clinical research team. As a key member of our team, you will assist with collecting data from research patients, perform required training, and learn the details of each study protocol.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with clinical research coordinators to assist with data collection and training.
- Perform diagnostic testing, schedule appointments, and educate patients regarding their retinal condition and treatment options.
- Assist with data entry for multiple EDC systems and communicate effectively with research coordinators to ensure high-quality data capture.
- Capture OCT imaging for study patients and label, export, and upload images via reading center submission portals.

- Strong interpersonal skills, including effective listening, clear communication, and customer problem resolution.
- Ability to master multiple computer systems and knowledge of ophthalmology and retina terminology.
- Ability and willingness to perform venipunctures and process samples (training provided).
