Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Network Operations Specialist to join our team at Hill AFB, UT. As a key member of our Network Operations Center (NOC) team, you will be responsible for providing 24x7 global DoD information network (DoDIN) operations and incident management support.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and troubleshoot circuits using advanced techniques and network monitoring tools.
- Provide higher-level technical support to the DISN customer and escalate issues when necessary.
- Utilize Remedy to create and update tickets and provide technical advice and insight to peers and leadership.
- Collaborate with the team to resolve monitoring errors and provide leadership and guidance in the interim due to operational necessity.
- Responsible for training, delegating, and reviewing the troubleshooting of Network controllers within O&M.
- High school diploma and 5+ years of experience in network operations.
- Must have DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE, or equivalent) at start date.
- Ability to work in a 24/7 operation and possess an active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
- Experience with alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN maintenance, performance management, and advanced knowledge in routers, switches, crypto devices, routing, DSN/DRSN, Video Services, Promina, CISCO, Juniper, MSPP, DWDM, and Optical Switching.
