  • Transport medical waste from various locations to our transfer stations or processing facilities
  • Manage assigned routes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of waste
  • Follow all federal, state, and local regulations regarding the transportation of medical waste
  • Communicate effectively with Transportation Managers, Supervisors, and Dispatchers to resolve any issues or concerns
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
  • Use electronic logging devices (ELDs) and GPS to track hours and locations

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience driving a tractor-trailer
  • Current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record
  • Doubles and Triples Endorsements a plus
  • Ability to read maps and follow turn-by-turn directions on electronic devices
  • General computer skills and knowledge of the internet
  • Ability to work safely and carefully to prevent injury to self and others
