Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Answering Calls and Directing Calls: Respond to incoming calls, determine the nature of the call, and direct the caller to the appropriate individual or department.
  • Message Taking and Delivery: Take accurate messages when personnel are unavailable and ensure timely delivery of messages.
  • Front Desk Operations: Greet and direct visitors to the appropriate personnel, operate the paging/telephone system as required, and provide administrative support as assigned.
  • Training and Development: Participate in and provide scheduled training, educational classes, and orientation programs to maintain licensure and certification.
  • Quality and Safety: Maintain and work within established departmental, center, and home office policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement program, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous receptionist experience required.
  • Skills: Prior work/life experiences, preferably in a healthcare setting.
