Job Title: Press Operator - Sheet Fed Offset Press Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team at Westrock. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for the performance of manual and machine tasks in the setup, maintenance, and operation of sheet-fed offset press to accurately produce product to customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reads work orders to determine setup specifications and instructions.
  • Starts machines and performs trial runs to verify accuracy of machine setups.
  • Observes and monitors machine operations to detect malfunctions and to determine whether adjustments are needed.
  • Maintains and records daily production, using specified forms.
  • Coordinates with management staff to ensure efficient operation of presses and related equipment.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of related experience running, troubleshooting and performing quality control on a press of similar size and complexity.
  • Ability to read and write instructions and correspondence.
  • Basic computer skills (email, word processing, etc.).
  • Ability to perform intermediate arithmetic (decimals, fractions, ratios, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, etc.).
  • Color vision and color hue test.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
