About the Opportunity

Virginia Commonwealth University's School of the Arts is seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach in the Department of Graphic Design. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented professional to share their expertise with our students and contribute to the growth and development of our program.

Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in Graphic Design, including design studio, studio management, and graduate-level seminars
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the department's goals and objectives
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students
  • Participate in departmental and school-wide activities, including committee work and professional development
Qualifications
  • Terminal degree (MFA) in Graphic Design or a related field
  • Appropriate teaching experience and/or strong oral presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment
