Surgery Precertification Specialist

At OrthoLoneStar PLLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgery Precertification Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless patient care and efficient surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Obtain Surgery Authorizations: Collaborate with physicians to obtain pre-authorizations for surgical procedures, ensuring timely and effective communication with insurance providers.
- Insurance Plan Analysis: Analyze patient insurance plans to determine financial responsibility, verifying benefits and eligibility to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement.
- Patient Communication: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Financial Management: Collect surgery deposits from patients in a timely manner, maintaining confidentiality and security of cash, checks, and credit card information.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with office staff, adjusters, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient surgical procedures.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare environment or relevant equivalent required.
- Skills: Prior experience in customer service, knowledge of different insurance plans, and ability to research complex issues required.
