Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at North Mississippi Medical Center. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading our rehabilitation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to Physical Therapist Assistants and technicians
  • Conduct supervisory visits according to state regulations
  • Manage equipment and supplies within budget
  • Charge patients appropriately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain productivity levels at department targets
  • Evaluate and establish treatment plans for patients referred to Physical Therapy
  • Remain competent in evaluation, therapeutic exercise, gait training, cognitive skills, wheelchair transfers, and modalities
  • Attend continuing education in-services and serve as a mentor for new employees
  • Complete documentation according to regulations and in a timely manner
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and be licensed as a Physical Therapist. You should also have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
