Project Engineer-Components

At Boyd Corporation, a leading manufacturer of high-performance cooling products, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our Engineering department.

This is a highly visible position that requires creativity, excellent communication skills, and the ability to sell ideas internally and to customers.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Manage new product development teams to ensure cost, performance, and schedule goals are achieved.
  • Design heat exchangers, cold plates, and other value-added assemblies to provide differentiated thermal solutions.
  • Write proposals to win new business and develop and execute verification test plans.
  • Write test procedures and engineering reports.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of experience.
  • Experience with computational fluid dynamics and finite element analysis tools.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with aerospace or military product development.
  • Working knowledge of metal forming, joining, and heat treating.

Desired Qualifications

A Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and design experience with heat exchangers or related thermal management products would be an asset.
