Cloud Infrastructure Project Manager with Expertise in HPC

At Align, we're seeking a highly skilled Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure Project Manager to lead our high-performance compute (HPC) private cloud infrastructure initiatives. With expertise in managing complex infrastructure projects and bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, you'll play a key role in optimizing and scaling our infrastructure.
This is a high-impact role in a fast-paced technical environment where you'll collaborate with leading engineers and architects. You'll oversee project timelines, manage resources, and ensure alignment between the technical team and business goals.
Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the full project lifecycle for HPC infrastructure initiatives, ensuring successful delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including compute engineers, architects, and cloud operations to design and implement robust HPC solutions.
- Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of projects involving cloud-based and on-premises compute infrastructure, including scheduling, risk management, and resource allocation.
- Define project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle while managing dependencies and adjusting plans as needed.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on project status, key milestones, risks, and dependencies, ensuring visibility across the organization.

Requirements:- 5+ years of experience in data center operations or project management, specifically in cloud infrastructure or datacenter environments.
- A highly organized, technically adept operations or project manager with experience in managing complex infrastructure projects.
- Adept at bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders and comfortable navigating the demands of HPC environments.
- Experience managing projects related to compute (CPU/GPU), storage, networking, and datacenter infrastructure at scale.
- Strong project management skills including planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and risk management.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in cloud infrastructure operations, ideally with experience working in a large infrastructure environment. This is a hybrid role based in Downtown Dallas, TX, with approximately 3 days of onsite work per week or as needed.
