We are seeking a qualified Family Medicine physician to join our esteemed team at Virginia Jobs. This role is situated in a picturesque region, offering a unique opportunity to practice in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care with a focus on quality and compassion.
- Oversee 7-8 outpatient sessions weekly, ensuring effective management of patient needs.
- Supervise and mentor residents and medical students, fostering their professional growth.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess an MD or DO degree and be board-certified or board-eligible by the relevant American boards in Family Medicine. Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Expertise in obstetrics.
- Experience in inpatient care.
- Proficiency in procedural skills or Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS).
- Prior experience in residency education or completion of a family medicine fellowship.
