Job Description:

We are looking for a Purchasing Agent to join our team at North Central Health Care.

This role will involve procuring a wide range of materials and supplies, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with company policies.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as a team member.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain regular attendance and make day-to-day decisions on purchasing sources.
• Assist with operations and organization of the central storeroom.
• Evaluate and compare prices, quality, and delivery terms to purchase items at the best value.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure purchasing needs are met.
• Correspond with vendors regarding prices, substitutions, and other matters.
• Oversee the maintenance of all storeroom records and billing.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1-3 years' experience in institutional purchasing or large-scale buying.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
