About the Role
The Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse (DPC RN) is a critical member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner. The ideal candidate will possess strong assessment, technical, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a culturally sensitive manner
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate's degree with 5 years to complete BSN
- Minimum 7 months of Step Down RN experience required
- Current Florida RN license required
- BLS and ACLS for healthcare providers required
