Principal .NET Developer

About the RoleAs a Consulting Principal .NET Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications using .NET, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and SQL. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical requirements. You will also participate in code reviews, provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new and existing systems.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET, leveraging Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and SQL.
- Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Implement unit tests using xunit and nunit to ensure code quality and functionality.
- Use git for version control and collaboration with the development team.
- Apply principles of object-oriented design to create efficient and effective software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new and existing systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in .NET development, including experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and SQL.
- Proficiency in unit testing frameworks such as xunit and nunit.
- Solid experience with git for version control.
- Strong understanding of design principles, particularly object-oriented design.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of developers.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of the latest technology trends.
