As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects related to food safety and quality assurance, including facility audits, training program development, and technical services.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in food safety and quality assurance facility audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop standardized enterprise-wide food safety and quality assurance training programs to educate employees on best practices.
- Support innovation and product development projects by analyzing data and providing insights on food safety and quality assurance.
- Lead technical services assigned projects, including troubleshooting food safety and quality opportunities, and process and product development and improvement.
- Analyze, summarize, and report out data associated with data/sample collection.
- Assist in quality system and food safety audits, and assist in the roll out of new technologies or new products at production facilities.
- University level studies in Food Science, Meat Science, Biology, Chemistry, or other related discipline.
- Previous laboratory, food safety and quality, and/or research and development experience is a plus.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Intermediate computer skills, including statistical data analysis, and experience with Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to travel extensively to production facilities.
