Job Summary

Terra-Gen Operating Company LLC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Wind Turbine Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our wind turbines and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the maintenance and repair of wind turbines and associated equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation tasks.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and safety of the turbines.
  • Collaborate with the site supervisor and lead technician to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Participate in training programs to improve technical skills and knowledge of wind turbine systems.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist with the compilation and maintenance of records and reports related to turbine performance and maintenance.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as electrical or mechanical maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation systems.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

The Wind Turbine Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, wind, and precipitation. The technician will also work at heights and in confined spaces, and will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.
