Job Title: Compliance & Regulatory Specialist

Expert Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Compliance & Regulatory Specialist to join our team in Webster, MA.

Job Summary:

The Compliance & Regulatory Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that our operations comply with all relevant regulations and standards. This includes overseeing compliance with product safety, environmental regulations, quality standards, and industry-specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and training programs for employees.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Work with stakeholders in the new product design process to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Review product designs, materials, and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Manage documentation and record-keeping processes to demonstrate compliance with regulations and certifications.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and certification bodies.
  • Investigate compliance incidents, non-conformities, and customer complaints, and implement corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance-related topics.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as environmental science, engineering, or business administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in compliance management, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards relevant to the industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with conducting audits, inspections, and investigations, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and environmental management systems is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
