Custodial Worker PTP

Join the City of Clearwater, FL team as a Custodial Worker PTP and contribute to maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodial Worker PTP to perform general and routine maintenance and cleaning tasks for all City buildings and facilities.

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, wax, and polish floors
• Dust, clean, wash, and maintain furniture, walls, windows, and other surfaces
• Shift, move, and arrange furniture and equipment for events, programs, and meetings
• Stock, organize, and maintain inventory and janitor closets
• Load and unload deliveries and equipment
• Perform minor maintenance work and other duties as assigned

• Valid State driver's license
• Ability to read and write
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and protocols, cleaning tools and products, department policies and protocols, and equipment maintenance practices and methods
• Skills in using cleaning products and equipment well, understanding and complying with oral and written instructions, and using tact and independent judgment within established guidelines
