Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Qualifications
    • Hold an associate's degree or higher from an accredited institution of higher learning; OR
    • Have an equivalent of two years of college coursework totaling 48 hours at an accredited institution of higher learning; OR
    • Pass the Education Testing Service (ETS) Para-Pro Assessment
  • Technical Skills
    • Working knowledge of computer systems and software
  • Personal Qualities
    • Multi-tasked oriented, firm, and a team player
    • Ability to work with small groups of students to reinforce skills, answer questions, and provide constructive academic feedback
    • Positive role model for young children
    • Excellent attendance and punctuality
    • Able to follow oral and written instructions
    • Establish effective schedules and work routines
    • Able to work under the direction of a certified teacher and complete assigned work-related duties
