Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Saint Catherine Hospital in East Chicago, IN. This is a 13-week contract position with a travel/contract employment type.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care as a Registered Nurse in the ICU setting.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies.
Requirements
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
  • At least 3 years of ICU experience.
  • EPIC experience within the last year.
Work Environment

This is a floating required position, and the traveler must complete unit-specific com exams prior to start. The patient ratios are 1:2, and the Code Status details will be provided.

Additional Information
  • Required accounting documents: I9, Drivers License/State ID, E-Verify.
  • Certifications must be updated prior to start if expiring within 60 days of start date.
  • State License 1 Verification - Permanent IN license required, no temporary licenses accepted.
  • All travelers must attach signed acknowledgement for competency exams completed first day of orientation.
