Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Exercise Physiologist to join our team at Arc. As a key member of our cardiology department, you will be responsible for conducting treadmill exercise stress testing to assess cardiovascular function and capacity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform treadmill exercise stress testing for busy cardiology department
  • Recognize contraindications and abnormal patient responses to exercise
  • Respond appropriately to all situations, including exercise cessation and referral to medical professionals
  • Set up and verify status of equipment
  • Record and calculate all necessary parameters, including manual blood pressure
  • Provide a safe and encouraging environment for cardiology patients
  • Recognize abnormal ECG tracings
  • Adhere to all company policies, including OSHA, HIPAA, compliance, and Code of Conduct
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year of experience in exercise/treadmill stress testing and EKG
  • Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) Certification and current AHA approved Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course completion card
  • Strong knowledge base in cardiovascular physiology, exercise physiology, ACSM guidelines, and EKG interpretation

Work Schedule
