As a key member of our perioperative team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of quality and safety in the operating room.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care and support to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Conduct pre-operative assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia
  • 2 years of experience in the operating room, preferably in a multispecialty surgery center
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
