CareOnSite, a division of Tang & Company, is seeking highly motivated Emergency Medical Technicians with strong clinical, computer, and multi-tasking skills to join our team.

Job Summary

The CareOnSite EMT/Paramedic is responsible for providing basic first aid and life-saving medical care to all persons working within the confines of the site. This position will include work in both a clinical setting and a field setting, working as part of a team or alone.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergencies throughout the site efficiently and promptly.
  • Administer basic first aid and medical support to patients, in accordance with federal, state, local, and company policy and regulations.
  • Assess the nature and extent of injuries/illnesses to prioritize medical procedures.
  • Effectively communicate with medical professionals and treatment facilities to obtain instructions regarding further action.
  • Effectively communicate with client and site personnel regarding any work site incidents and hazards.
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to be cognizant of the constantly changing worksite environment and site hazards.
  • Ensure that quality, clinical standards are practiced always.
  • Document all findings and treatments clearly and concisely.
  • Assist the Site Safety Managers and Personnel in maintaining the safest and most secure work environment possible.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Active State EMT or Paramedic license.
  • Active BLS certification.
  • 2 years of experience in an emergency setting (e.g. ER department or 911 contracted ambulance service).
  • 911 experience is required.
