Esta persona trabajará de manera independiente y liderará equipos en proyectos de ingeniería estructural, siendo responsable de la producción de documentos de construcción y dibujos de taller para nuestros clientes.

Todo el trabajo estará bajo la supervisión de los Ingenieros Principales de la firma.

El candidato debe ser capaz de gestionar proyectos pequeños y medianos, y se requiere que se comunique con los miembros del equipo de diseño y los clientes.

Además, debe poseer habilidades de comunicación y coordinación sólidas, ser automotivado y tener atención al detalle, con la iniciativa de entregar dibujos estructurales de alta calidad y técnicamente excelentes.


Responsabilidades:
  • Realizar cálculos basados en principios de ingeniería y requisitos de códigos de construcción.
  • Utilizar una variedad de paquetes de software de ingeniería en diseño asistido por computadora.
  • Ser responsable de la producción de documentos de proyecto y dibujos de taller para presentaciones a clientes.
  • Viajar a sitios de trabajo para reuniones y observaciones de proyectos durante la construcción según sea necesario.
  • Preparar informes escritos formales para clientes que resuman las observaciones en el sitio.
  • Interactuar continuamente con los clientes durante el diseño del proyecto.
  • Ser capaz de liderar y orientar a ingenieros más jóvenes como parte de un equipo de proyecto.

Requisitos y Calificaciones:
  • Título en Ingeniería Civil, con énfasis en estructuras o Ingeniería Arquitectónica.
  • Certificación EIT requerida.
  • Mínimo de 4 años de experiencia profesional.
  • Experiencia con aplicaciones informáticas y software de diseño como AutoCAD, REVIT, Ram Structural Systems, Microsoft Office.
  • Preferible experiencia en diseño de sistemas de acero ligero, acero, concreto, mampostería y madera.
  • Familiaridad con códigos aplicables, como IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC.
  • Capacidad para trabajar de manera efectiva tanto de forma independiente como en un entorno de equipo.
  • Flexibilidad y adaptabilidad a prioridades cambiantes.
  • Automotivación y capacidad para realizar múltiples tareas manteniendo una fuerte atención al detalle.
  • Capacidad para actuar con integridad empresarial y profesionalismo.
