Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Handler to join our team at MillenniumSoft. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of materials, parts, and finished products within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a variety of equipment such as forklifts, conveyers, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials and products.
  • Maintain accurate records and develop skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within one skill area.
  • Apply basic knowledge and skills to complete routine tasks consisting of prescribed steps.
  • Work within clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and adhere to quality guidelines.
  • Work under general to limited supervision.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Zero to one year of warehouse experience or related experience and/or training.
  • Obtain and/or maintain appropriate licenses, training, and certifications as needed.
  • Basic skills training in an analytical or scientific method or operational process area.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend documents in English.
  • Ability to perform in a metrics-driven environment and general computer skills.
Physical Demands
  • The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • The position will have exposure to work near moving mechanical parts, extreme weather conditions, and vibration.
  • Occasionally, the position will have exposure to work in high, precarious places and fumes/airborne particles.
  • The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
