Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at Steward Health Care. As a key member of our cardiac catheterization laboratory, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic procedures of a highly specialized nature, requiring attention to sterile technique and close patient observation.
  • Conduct diagnostic or interventional studies, working closely with cardiologists to ensure accurate and effective treatment.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of hemodynamics and radiation safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care and support.
Requirements
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR (BLS) certification.
  • Education: Technical School/2 Years College/Associates Degree or 5 years of equivalent experience plus passing the RCIS exam within 1 year of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification.
  • Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification.
  • Critical Care/Cath Lab experience.
  • Certification in area of specialty.
