The estimated annual salary range for this position is $65,000-$90,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

As a diagnostic MRI specialist, you will be responsible for operating a scanner to obtain images used for diagnosis and treatment of pathologies. This includes preparing and positioning patients, selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately, and ensuring prompt submission of high-quality images and documents sent to PACS.

  • Operate a scanner to produce cross-sectional images of the body.
  • Prepare and position patients accurately to produce high-quality images.
  • Select anatomic and technical parameters to achieve optimal image quality.
  • Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images from disk to magnetic media, and develop film in an automatic processor.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date.
  • One or more of the following required certifications: Cardiographic Tech (CCI), Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT), Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography (ARRT), or Medical Sonographer (ARDMS).
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
