Job Summary

We are seeking a registered nurse with ICU experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have acute care or critical care experience, as well as strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of nursing care for critically ill patients, including those requiring ventilatory support, hemodynamic stabilization, and other forms of critical care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality patient care, in keeping with the philosophy and objectives of the hospital and department
  • Prescribe, delegate and coordinate all nursing care provided to assigned patients and is responsible for meeting all standards associated with performance, nursing practice and nursing care
  • Maintain & apply current nursing standards and clinical competency including the National Patient Safety Goals and apply critical thinking skills in conjunction with facility policies & procedures to prioritize and problem solve

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will also be expected to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless coordination of care.

Requirements
  • Acute care or critical care experience strongly preferred
  • Current Georgia RN licensure or compact license
  • Current CPR certification issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire
