In the absence of the Executive Housekeeper, the Housekeeping Operations Supervisor will guide our Housekeeping Team in ensuring a pristine and welcoming experience for each guest. This role encompasses oversight of all aspects of housekeeping, including guest accommodations, communal spaces, laundry operations, and departmental storage areas. Your focus will be on enhancing each guest's experience by embodying our mission of "hospitality from our family to yours."

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily inspections of the property to assess the condition and cleanliness of all guest rooms and public areas.
  • Distribute room assignments to housekeeping staff.
  • Document maintenance issues through work orders.
  • Address requests from the front desk, such as early check-ins, late check-outs, and additional towels, assigning them to the appropriate team member.
  • Review all cleaned rooms to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Provide accurate updates on the status of guest rooms to the front office.
  • Maintain inspection schedules to uphold cleanliness and standards.
  • Prepare and submit the Daily Suite Report to clarify the status of suites and any discrepancies.
  • Assist the Executive Housekeeper with monthly inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and guest room amenities.
  • Train new housekeeping staff on cleanliness standards.
  • Supervise housekeeping personnel to ensure proper stocking of carts and completion of cleaning and laundry tasks according to property standards.
  • Ensure all team members present a professional appearance, including proper uniforms and visible name tags.
  • Greet each guest encountered during your shift with a warm smile.
  • Maintain a clean and professional personal appearance.
  • Follow established procedures for reporting and handling lost and found items.
  • Collaborate with other departments as needed to resolve service requests or issues.
  • Ensure the safety of guests and associates by adhering to security protocols, including emergency procedures and confidentiality of guest and company information.
  • Comply with all company and safety policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management; and complete necessary safety training and certifications.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of two years' experience in housekeeping.
  • This position requires prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, stretching, pushing, lifting, and pulling, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer and keyboard proficiency.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.
