Responsibilities

As a Direct Support Professional, your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing personal care tasks, such as feeding, ambulation, and medical monitoring
  • Assisting with fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their housemates
  • Ensuring client safety and maintaining a safe environment
  • Encouraging self-help activities
  • Accompanying clients to scheduled appointments

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in a group home, home-like setting
  • Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external

Additional Job Information

This is a PRN position, which means you will be filling in for shifts as needed. You may work days, nights, weekends, or overnights, and will be required to be flexible with your schedule.

Salary Range

USD $14.75 / Hour
