CT Assist is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Tyler, Texas. As a Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced CVICU environment.
**Responsibilities**
* Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing cardiovascular and thoracic surgery
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
* Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients to identify potential complications
* Develop and implement treatment plans to prevent and manage complications
* Educate patients and families on post-operative care and management
**Requirements**
* Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Texas
* Experience in CVICU or Cardiothoracic Surgery
* Strong knowledge of cardiovascular and thoracic surgery procedures and complications
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
