Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and caring Home Care Aide to join our team. As a Home Care Aide, you will provide non-medical home care services and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and live safely in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, toileting, and personal hygiene
  • Offer companionship and social interaction to help alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation
  • Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and nutrition
  • Provide light housekeeping services, including cleaning and laundry
  • Administer first aid and infection control measures as needed
  • Supervise and remind clients to take their medications
  • Engage clients in recreational activities, such as bingo, chess, reading, and exercising

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be physically able to perform the duties of the job and have a valid driver's license (if applicable).
