Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct testing and commissioning of both new and existing boiler systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair a range of boiler types, including condensing, non-condensing, water tube, and fire tube models.
  • Perform thorough inspections of boilers and associated systems to assess functionality and longevity.
  • Carry out repairs and replacements of various components, including refractory materials, gaskets, and controls.
  • Utilize combustion analysis tools to optimize boiler performance and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Schedule and execute preventive maintenance tasks, responding promptly to service requests.
  • Work independently while also collaborating with other technicians as necessary.
  • Participate in an on-call service rotation to provide support as needed.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned to support operational goals.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or GED is required. Candidates should possess 2 to 5 years of experience in servicing and troubleshooting boilers across various commercial and industrial applications. Familiarity with boiler safety protocols and fire control systems is essential.

Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective teamwork and client interaction. A valid driver's license is required, along with the ability to meet MVR standards for operating company vehicles. Availability for overtime, on-call duties, and weekend work is expected.

Physical Requirements:

The role involves physical demands such as climbing ladders, lifting heavy equipment, and working in confined spaces. Candidates must be able to tolerate varying temperatures and environmental conditions.

Work Environment:

Employees are expected to adhere to safety protocols and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job functions.
