We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Del Sol Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. Our hospital is a full-service, acute-care facility with 300+ patient beds and a Level II trauma designation.

Salary: $96,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description:

  • ">
  • Assess patients' conditions during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.">
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care administration in patients' medical records.">
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to medication.">
  • Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.">
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers about patients' medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • ">
  • RN licensed in State of Texas/Compact.">
  • BCLS certified.">
  • Current ACLS (exception: new graduates must obtain within six months from date of hire).">
  • Associates Degree or BSN.">
  • Critical care background.">
  • Dysrhythmia recognition.">
  • Proficiency in EKG.">
