Job Overview
Decker is seeking an experienced Class A CDL driver to join our team as an OTR Reefer Driver. This role involves operating a 53 ft. reefer trailer, hauling refrigerated foods and beverages, and traveling east of the Rockies.

Key Responsibilities
• Operate a 53 ft. reefer trailer, hauling refrigerated foods and beverages
• Travel east of the Rockies, averaging 1,900 to 2,300 miles per week
• Meet minimum pay criteria, including availability for dispatch 5 days a week, no load refusals, and 100% on-time delivery

Benefits
• Competitive pay, including a minimum pay of $1,000 per week
• Opportunities for pay increases, up to $.70 cpm
• Monthly bonus, up to $.05 cpm per month
• Per diem, $.10 cpm for all drivers
• Trailer washout pay, $15 per trailer
• Stop pay, $15.00 per pickup and delivery
• Detention pay, $20/hour for on-time delivery detention
• Layover pay, $75 for 24 hours of layover, $100 for subsequent 24-hour periods
• Breakdown pay, $100 for 1st day, $150 for 2nd day, $200 for 3rd+ days
• Short haul pay, varying rates based on miles

Equipment and Amenities
• Operate a 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, or 2024 Peterbilt 579, Volvo, or Freightliner Cascadia
• All trucks are governed at 65 mph, 68 mph on cruise control
• Trucks are equipped with APU, 1,800-watt Inverter, Free Wi-Fi, Smart TV with Satellite Programming, Microwave, Refrigerator, CB Radio, Satellite Radio Hook-ups

Requirements
• Class A CDL license
• 6 months of experience as a Class A CDL driver
• Ability to pass a physical and drug test
• Ability to work 21+ days out, 5 days home

Orientation and Onboarding
• Orientation pay, $500 after completion of orientation
• Orientation location, Fort Dodge, IA
• Traveling to orientation, rental vehicle, plane, or reimbursement for driving own vehicle
